In the tranquil land of Saon Khuean Subdistrict, nestled in Phrae Province of Northern Thailand, a unique story unfolds — one that blends the sacred with the serene, the spiritual with the ecological.

This textile pattern, hand-dyed with natural indigo ("hom") and crafted with resist-dye techniques, draws its soul from two symbols of profound local identity :

  The first is the Replica of Kyaiktiyo Pagoda (Phra That In Khwaen), majestically perched like a suspended boulder in the forest, symbolizing unwavering faith, balance, and devotion.
 

The second is the freshwater algae known as "Sao" or "Tao", a rare organism that only thrives in the purest of waters. It signifies ecological purity, delicate resilience, and a deep connection to nature’s integrity.
 

•  Inspired by a jewel pendant that abstractly encapsulates the pagoda’s form and the fluid curvature of the algae, the motif was transmuted into a geometric floral pattern — repeated like ripples in water — then imprinted onto indigo-dyed fabric using a technique that simultaneously preserves tradition and radiates modern elegance.This fabric, then, is more than just a textile. It is a living story. A sacred stream of culture woven into every thread. A poetic echo of a village where faith floats on stone, and life flows from clean water.

ในแผ่นดินที่เงียบสงบแห่ง “ตำบลสวนเขื่อน” จังหวัดแพร่ มีตำนานและธรรมชาติที่หล่อหลอมเป็นหนึ่งเดียว
ลวดลายอัตลักษณ์บนผืนผ้าย้อมห้อมธรรมชาตินี้ ถือกำเนิดจากการกลั่นกรองเรื่องราวของ "พระธาตุอินแขวนจำลอง" อันตั้งตระหง่านอยู่กลางป่าเขียว ราวกับศิลาที่ลอยเหนือพื้นพิภพ เป็นสัญลักษณ์แห่งศรัทธา ความมั่นคง และจิตวิญญาณของชาวสวนเขื่อน

อีกหนึ่งแรงบันดาลใจสำคัญคือ “สาหร่ายเทา” (หรือ “สาหร่ายเตา”) — สิ่งมีชีวิตเล็ก ๆ ใต้น้ำ ซึ่งสามารถเจริญเติบโตได้เฉพาะในแหล่งน้ำสะอาดเท่านั้น มันคือดัชนีวัดความบริสุทธิ์ และสื่อถึงวิถีชีวิตที่กลมกลืนกับธรรมชาติของคนสวนเขื่อน

จากนั้น ผู้ออกแบบได้สร้างเครื่องประดับที่สะท้อนโครงสร้างของพระธาตุอินแขวน ผสานกับความโค้งเว้าคล้ายเกลียวของสาหร่ายเทา แล้วนำรูปทรงดังกล่าวมาสร้างลวดลายซ้ำ ๆ ลงบนผืนผ้าย้อมครามห้อมแบบธรรมชาติ ด้วยเทคนิค “กัดลาย” ซึ่งไม่เพียงให้ความงาม แต่ยังเล่าขานเรื่องราวผ่านศิลปะสิ่งทอ

ผ้าผืนนี้จึงไม่ใช่เพียงผ้า แต่คือจิตวิญญาณของแผ่นดิน คือเรื่องเล่า คือสายธารศรัทธาและความสะอาดบริสุทธิ์ของธรรมชาติที่ถูกถ่ายทอดผ่านปลายพู่กันแห่งวัฒนธรรม

• ผ้าย้อมห้อม: เครื่องแต่งกายแห่งภูมิปัญญา ผสมผสานการย้อมสีจากธรรมชาติ กับเทคนิคศิลป์ที่รักษาสิ่งแวดล้อม

 “Bombs and Blessings – The Sacred Ground of Ban Pin” 

This motif is inspired by true events during World War II, when Allied forces bombed the Ban Pin Railway Station in Phrae Province.
The station, designed and built by German engineers, was a key part of the Northern railway network — and thus became a military target.

However, many of the bombs failed to detonate. Locals began to believe that the area was protected by sacred forces, and that the land itself held spiritual power. The design reimagines the bomb forms not as weapons, but as vessels of fate, etched with architectural motifs from the station — blending destruction with beauty, and war with resilience. It is a woven remembrance of fragility, faith, and the mysterious mercy of fate.
 

“ลายศรัทธาใต้เงาระเบิด – ตำนานบ้านปิน” 

ลวดลายนี้ได้แรงบันดาลใจจาก เหตุการณ์จริงในสมัยสงครามโลกครั้งที่ 2
เมื่อกองทัพฝ่ายพันธมิตรได้ทิ้งระเบิดลงที่ สถานีรถไฟบ้านปิน ตำบลบ้านปิน อำเภอลอง จังหวัดแพร่ สถานีแห่งนี้ถูกออกแบบและก่อสร้างโดยชาวเยอรมัน เป็นหนึ่งในจุดยุทธศาสตร์สำคัญของเส้นทางรถไฟสายเหนือ แต่สิ่งที่กลายเป็นตำนาน คือระเบิดจำนวนมาก “ด้าน” ไม่ระเบิด ผู้คนจึงเชื่อว่า สถานีรถไฟบ้านปิน และผืนแผ่นดินแห่งนี้มีความศักดิ์สิทธิ์ คุ้มครองผู้คนและสิ่งก่อสร้างไว้ได้ ลวดลายนี้ถ่ายทอดรูปลักษณ์ของ “ลูกระเบิด” ที่มีลวดลายสถาปัตยกรรมบนตัว  เพื่อสื่อว่า แม้ระเบิดจะถูกส่งมาทำลาย แต่กลับกลายเป็นสัญลักษณ์ของความรอด ความเชื่อ และการเริ่มต้นใหม่
